We know the promotional products business. In fact, we gave birth to the industry in 1896 when our founder, Herbert H. Bigelow, sold and produced his first calendar order – a one-color cardboard calendar with a picture of George Washington for a St. Paul, Minnesota coal and wood company.
Two years later, when Bigelow added cloth specialties to our calendar line, his notion of using imprinted specialties for retention and day-after-day use was truly innovative.
In 1936, our president Charlie Ward stunned the calendar industry by paying the then extraordinary sum of $10,000 for the exclusive rights to Maxfield Parrish’s "Peaceful Valley." Other artists, including Norman Rockwell, C.M. Coolidge, Gil Elvgren, and Zoe Mozert, soon joined our company as contract artists.
We are a major player in what is now a multi-billion dollar industry. Our mission is to deliver targeted promotional product solutions designed to build strong, long-term business relationships.
We continue to hire talented industry experienced sales representatives and support staff. Investing in technology and our infrastructure and expanding our physical presence throughout the country brings our resources closer to you.
